Remembrance Sunday in Rhayader 2021:  Sunday, 14 November 2021

Rhayader will remember the service and sacrifice of all those that defended our freedoms and protected our way of life on November the 14th. “We are inviting everyone to please come and attend our act of Remembrance in the Town” said Cllr. Darran Thomas. “There will be a brief service at the Clock Tower, followed by two minutes silence and wreaths laid at the war memorial clock. This will be followed by another service conducted at Rhayader St. Clements Church” Mr. Thomas added.

Temporary road closures will be in place for the morning of Sunday, 14 November for all four main roads leading to Rhayader Clock Tower for 35 minutes between 10:30am and 11:05 am.

Rhayader Town Council is working in partnership with local groups including the Royal British Legion, Scouts, the Church in Wales, and the Fire Brigade to deliver the 2021 Remembrance Sunday commemorations. Please join us from 10.30 am on Sunday 14th November.
